Google Sitemap is an ideal way to tell Google about the web pages on your website. This directly helps Google you discover the pages otherwise it may not be discovered or index by Google. All the major 3 search engines like Google, Yahoo and MSN/Bing looks for sitemap.xml on any websites.

Google Sitemap is helpful in many reasons:

• If your website has dynamic content.
• Is your website having certain pages, which are not been indexed or discovered by Googlebot during the normal crawl process – for e.g, web pages contain images or heavy and rich AJAX.
• The website having a large archive of content pages that are not linked properly with each other, or are not even linked at all.
• If your website is not properly linked with each page as Googlebot crawl the web by following links.
